HOME / HOW IT WORKS

From the customer
to your wallet.

A crypto payment that goes from the customer's wallet to the merchant's wallet. A smart contract splits the payment and Waynance never holds the funds.

Five steps.
No custodial intermediary.

This is how direct payments with Waynance are designed. The screens shown on this website are for illustration only.

  1. 01
The merchant sets up the payment

They enter the amount in the Waynance POS app for Android or iOS.

  2. 02
The customer chooses how to pay

They scan the QR code with a compatible wallet or tap a compatible Cold Wallet on the POS via NFC, where the device, operating system and implementation allow it.

  3. 03
    The customer authorizes the payment

Authorization is given from their own wallet or device. Waynance has no access to their keys.

  4. 04
The smart contract splits the payment

The smart contract distributes the transaction: the corresponding amount goes to the merchant's wallet and the Waynance fee goes to Waynance.

  5. 05
The merchant receives the funds in their wallet

The funds arrive in the merchant's wallet, under their control. Confirmation time depends on the network used.

✳   Blockchain transactions are recorded and may be traceable. Networks, assets, devices and features are subject to availability.

Getting paid and converting
are not the same thing.

Direct crypto payments and fiat conversion are separate processes. Conversion is optional.

↗

Direct crypto payment

Customer → compatible wallet or Cold Wallet → authorized payment → smart contract → merchant's wallet + Waynance fee.

€

Fiat Bridge (optional)

Crypto → connection to a licensed third-party provider → applicable verification → fiat conversion and settlement. Waynance only facilitates the connection.
